Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long will my order take to arrive? We usually send orders within three days of purchase, however sometimes depending on the type of purchase (eg custom candle) this may be longer. Delivery times vary depending on where you live, but most New Zealand customers receive their order within 5-7 working days.

2. Do you ship outside New Zealand? At the moment we only ship within New Zealand. If you’re overseas and keen to try our products, please get in touch — we’d love to hear from you.

3. What payment methods do you accept? Currently we accept direct bank deposit and POLi payments. More options may be added as we grow.

4. Are your soaps natural? Yes! Our soaps are made with quality oils and butters, and we use natural clays, botanicals, and skin‑safe colourants, essential oils and fragrance oils.

5. Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils? We use both. Essential oils give a lovely natural scent, while fragrance oils allow us to create fun blends you won’t find in nature. Be assured that all the fragrance oils we use are completely phthalate free 

6. What if I’m not happy with my order? We want you to enjoy your purchase. If something isn’t right, please contact us and we’ll do our best to sort it out. 

  • Please choose carefully, as we are unable to refund or exchange for change of mind. Full details about refunds and returns are outlined in our Terms & Conditions and Refunds policy. If you’re unsure, we recommend reading those pages before placing your order.

7. How do I contact you? You can use the contact form on our website, or reach us directly by email or phone (details are on our Contact page).

8. Can I buy your products in retail stores? Not at the moment. Right now our creations are only available through this website.

9. Can I have my order gift‑wrapped and sent to someone else?
Yes, we’re happy to gift‑wrap your order and send it directly to another person. There is a small gift‑wrapping charge for this service. There is a gift‑wrap option at checkout,  with or without a personalised card. Just check the box(es) and we’ll do the rest!

10. Do you offer custom or bulk orders?
We can sometimes make larger batches. If you’re interested, please contact us to discuss.

11. How should I store my soap?
Keep your soap in a cool, dry place and allow it to drain between uses. This helps it last longer. Check out our Soap care page for more info on keeping your soap in excellent condition

12. Is your packaging eco‑friendly?
Our packaging is mostly recyclable and paper‑based. For fragile items like glassware, we sometimes use bubble wrap to keep them safe in transit.

13. Are your soaps truly vegan?
YES! with two exceptions. Sanskrit Sunset has beeswax in it and  our SuperSoap contains tallow.

14. Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order has been shipped you’ll receive tracking details by email. Check out our Shipping page for more information

15. Do you offer gift cards?
Not at the moment, but it’s something we’re considering for the future.
